  • Demonstrate knowledge of food service styles and menu types in a commercial environment
  • Take, amend, and cancel reservations for food and beverage service
  • Greet and seat customers, and take initial orders
  • Provide advanced restaurant food service
  • Demonstrate knowledge of alcoholic and non- alcoholic beverages and beverage service equipment
  • Provide a beverage service to tables
  • Demonstrate knowledge of coffee heritage and production
  • Demonstrate knowledge of coffee equipment and recipes
  • Prepare and present pressed coffee for service
  • Prepare and present filtered coffee for service
  • Prepare and present espresso beverages for service
  • Maintain bulk beer storage facilities and kegs in a licensed commercial environment
  • Demonstrate knowledge of beer and beer service
  • Evaluate wine
  • Prepare, take orders, and serve bottled wines
  • Receive and action payments in a commercial hospitality environment
  • Participate in formal meetings
  • Give and receive feedback
  • Recognise and apply non verbal communications
  • Form IV or Equivalent
  • Minimum 17 years old
