Demonstrate and apply knowledge of automotive spray guns, spraying and spray gun defects, and spray gun maintenance
Demonstrate and apply knowledge of fillers, and filling and sanding a repair in the motor body industry
Demonstrate and apply knowledge of colours and finish coats in the motor body industry
Demonstrate and apply knowledge of paint defects in the automotive refinishing industry
Demonstrate and apply knowledge of methods of and precautions when removing paint from vehicle body panel surfaces
Remove paint from vehicle panels
Demonstrate and apply knowledge of masking, and primers, and primer fillers in the motor body industry
Prepare a painted surface and prepare bare metal for painting in the motor body industry
Use a spray gun to apply top coats to vehicle panels, maintain a spray gun and equipment, and rectify spray gun defects
Apply finish coats of paint to a complete panel in the motor body industry
Use and maintain spray guns in the motor body industry
Apply ethics pledge within his/her workplace
Ensure health and safety in the workplace
