Situated in Rodrigues, Le Chou Multipurpose Training Centre is the most important Training Centre offering vocational training to Rodriguans. LCMTC became operational in January 1994. The Training Centre currently operates with the support of 42 staff members and trains around 500 trainees yearly.
The centre offers a wide variety of courses ranging from General Technical Trades to courses in the Hospitality Sector, Information and Communication Technology, Agriculture, through various modes of training namely apprenticeship scheme, full time, part time, short courses and tailor made courses for Rodriguans. Its target audience is school leavers and people already in employment
