Situated at Ebene, the Sir Rampersad Neerunjun Training Complex - East Wing (SRNTC-EW) was inaugurated in 1994. It provides training to school leavers, workers in industry and the public at large, in a wide range of areas within the field of Automotive, Mechanical and Electromechanical Engineering, Printing and Jewellery. Courses are run at full-time and Apprenticeship modes leading to the NC 3 and NC 5 Levels. Moreover, with a view to responding to the training needs of in-service people in industry who cannot attend full-time training, a wide range of part-time and/or tailor-made short courses are offered after normal working hours and on Saturdays, or under 1 or 2 week block release mode.
The centre works in close collaboration with Engineering departments of reputed local Manufacturing and Service companies such as Toyota (Mauritius) Ltd, Axess Ltd, Sugar Milling Co. and Food Processing Plants.
